Ian has spent his entire career in the moving industry, starting as a porter in the family firm in Lincolnshire in the early 1970’s and ultimately holding the role of National Operations Director with the country’s largest specialist Office and Commercial Mover with a P&L responsibility of over £25m.
Ian has also spent over 20 years serving as an officer of the national trade association and for the last 5 of those years, having executive authority as its Director General.
